Double South

A not-so-short runaway. It starts with no planning at all. Just a two night hostel booking.
Then we started our road trip to the south. It was awesome. Despite all the indecisive moment, we are cool like that.
A trip to remember

The view is (insert what ever you think)

It's worthwhile

I miss my girl. If this is our road trip, it would be damn awesome.
Beer, Beef and Bear ( i just wanna make it sounds rhyme) lol.
But we can drink every night while munching beef or lamb or whatsoever.

I miss you. I miss everyone back in Malaysia especially the one that add on my laptop bag's weight. Love you.

P/s: everything is great except the connection.

Run amok

I dont remember why I started blogging. Seems awhile ago. I'm not sure did i disguised myself along this years. It seems to be something very ordinary here. A place of trueness-cum-envelop post.

I'm not sure what is that feeling. When you wake early in the morning, and wish that the reality is just a dream. Wish to stay in dream forever. Call it naive. Call it unrealistic or even foolish. But i guess that is the feeling when you suffer the lose of your confidant. Do you have that kind of feeling? Someone that you met just a moment and you knew that this is the someone that have the 'click' with.

At this long road, we have been to. This far we have come to. I believe there is a different path in everyone's life. But i always believe there will be an inter-section point in future if is not near future. Sometimes, it might be ambiguous and obscure, but for sure, I always wish everyone that I care, have a great life. Life is too short to keep reminising about the past. I'm not saying I don't but I wish everyone has a contented life, of course including me and you. Sometimes is hurt to admit that we have gone far away. We have move on. But I knew there is nothing for sure. After a long travelled journey, we might meet at the end of the road.

What is life without obstacles? Lately, when I'm walking through the shinning light, the dimmest street or even the drizzling walkway, I keep thinking about what-will-happen in future. I mean like what my career gonna be? Someone told me, the hardest time is 'current-time'. If you think you are in the hardest time ever, take a step back, you'll see a brighter and better picture of it.  Good luck and all the best!

Imperfection is a kinda of beauty that I used to tell myself when things aren't going the way that I hope it will. I used to share a lot, when i'm younger. I think friendship is nurture under the word sharing. When you stop sharing. It starts to die off slowly. There are lots of stories that touched the deepest part of my heart lately. At the same time, I'm craving for a better living environment with a real civilized people. It makes me upset with the things happen surrounding me.

The prettiest picture is always imagined picture. It involved only me and me. I can imagine i own the whole world with my tiniest grasp. I can imagine i own the most comfortable couch that can hold me tightly when i'm tired. A friend that will tell me, I'll be there for you whenever you need me. But all in all, no harm dreaming. Dare to dream, dream big or whatnot. Dream is the wildest thing can happen to our life, but still, if there is no dream, there is no dream-come-true.

Emancipation

Everyone was talking about the earthquake a few days ago. While today, everyone is talking about the nuclear reactor. I watched a video explaining about the how the nuclear reactor work early in the morning. I seems to understand what my friend told me yesterday about the "iron rod melt"thingy.

While I feel like Im at the most puzzling state, I feel like there is nothing worth batting anymore and my thinking hovered between giving up and puzzlement. I have a deep-seated aversion against the situation that I am facing now. I just want to emancipate myself from this situation.

While everyone still aghast about the news from the earthquake, tsunami and nuclear explosion, I read an article shared on FB, I was blown away by their stories.

Here i shared some that really touched me.

At the supermarket
I just came back safely from the supermarket!  Man, I was so touched at how everyone there was mindful of others, buying only as much as they needed and leaving the rest for the people behind them.

Japanese people don’t shove
I'm looking at Yurakucho station from above.  I see people standing in line, not pushing or shoving to get onto the Yamanote Line (probably the busiest line in central Tokyo), even at a time like this!

A little story about Papa
We live in an area that was not directly hit.  When my father came downstairs and heard the news saying that our area had begun allocating electricity to the hard-hit areas, he quietly led by example, turning off the power around the house and pulling the plugs out of their sockets.  I was touched.  He usually NEVER turns off the lights or the AC or the TV or anything!

Reminded of the goodness of the Japanese people
This earthquake has reminded me of that Japanese goodness that had recently become harder and harder to see.  Today I see no crime or looting: I am reminded once again of the good Japanese spirit of helping one another, of propriety, and of gentleness.  I had recently begun to regard my modern countrymen as cold people … but this earthquake has revived and given back to all of us the spirit of “kizuna” (bond, trust, sharing, the human connection).  I am very touched.  I am brought to tears.

At a congested downtown intersection …
Cars were moving at the rate of maybe one every green light, but everyone was letting each other go first with a warm look and a smile.  At a complicated intersection, the traffic was at a complete standstill for 5 minutes, but I listened for 10 minutes and didn’t hear a single beep or honk except for an occasional one thanking someone for giving way.  It was a terrifying day, but scenes like this warmed me and made me love my country even more.

The bakery lady
There was a small bread shop on the street I take to go to school.  It has long been out of business.  But last night, I saw the old lady of the shop giving people her handmade bread for free.  It was a heart-warming sight.  She, like everyone else, was doing what she could to help people in a time of need.  Tokyo isn’t that bad afterall!

Coffee
My husband finally got home very late last night after walking for 4 hours.  He told me he felt like giving up at around Akabane, when an elderly man who was going around handing out free coffee saw him, gave him a steaming cup and said, “You must be tired and cold.  Here, have some coffee!”  My husband told me that it was because of this elderly man that he found the will and strength to continue walking.  I’ve already heard this story from him five times tonight, so no doubt he was really, really touched!  Thank you to my husband’s anonymous helper!

Blood donations
Japan is strong!  At Osaka I saw a LONG line of people waiting to give blood at the blood donation center.  This is the first time I have seen such a queue of selfless people waiting patiently in line just to give.  It was a moving sight!  To everyone in the hard-hit areas, we your countrymen accept your suffering as our own and we share in your grief.  Do not give up!  Stay strong!

Not enough money!
At the store where I work, a huge group of young men suddenly came in to buy booze.  One of them suddenly said, “Oops, I only have enough money to buy booze, I can’t donate!  Forget the booze, maybe next time!” and instead put ALL his money into the disaster relief donation box.  One by one, every single one of the army of youths threw all their money into the box after him.  What a heart-warming sight that was!

God Bless Japan!

Man vs Chelsea?

It rains heavily. I love the breeze when it touches me and slip away. As though, it brings all my worries and sadness in me with it.

There is never a situation that always in perplexity. I'm adamant to be convinced that what i've read and what you said is true. We are not strangers, we used to confide, share our daily stuff. You used to invigorate me with your not-so-funny-joke. The timing might not seems to be propitious but it will never always be the same.

Just like the rain. It comes and it goes. I always love heavy rain, I knew after the rain, the grass would be greener, the air would be energized or by chance i might be able to see rainbow.

Loves. I love my life. Albeit from all the incomplete. I never lose faith.

Nor this

How is your first week of the year? It has been a great one to me. Working most of time though. I just feel so contented because CNY is just around the corner. I just love CNY more than any other festival as we are chinese. So, we should be proud to be one or at lease i am proud to be one. The melody of CNY songs, the decoration, the spring cleaning (what a joke), the looking forward and coming up gathering, the angpows and everything. Everything seems perfect!

No matter where are you, in which part of the world that you grew up, we are still brothers and sisters because we are chinese. There is an invisible bond in between. I always feel happy to meet a chinese especially when Im in a foreign land but I hate the facts that we are too "americanised' or "britishnised". Ok, i might be in the click too. But we should always be proud of who and what we are. There is a friend of mine (obviously not chinese), he likes to say, chinese always talk about money. He likes to say something like , Yo.. you're chinese. That is why! This phrase seems to mean a lot. Are we really like money or we just like saving or we are to into planning for our next generation. I think chinese culture is very unique at its own. I dare not say that i am an epitome of a chinese person. At lease i read chinese and i am still learning hard.

Im sucks with words and Im not artistic.

A year older , a year wiser.

Yesterday Nee asked me what is my new year resolution. I answered her, what a lame question. Lol. But then i did answered her. I said, 'to love those that hates me'. She said.... IMPOSSIBLE. Hahaha..

Whatever it is. New Year is here. I did not have any fancy countdowns, did not have any New Year resolution (doesnt mean im gonna do nothing).. and I dont plan to reminisce my 2010 (It's an awesome year for me though) because i know 2011 would be definitely be a great one.

Btw, while im browsing thru my pictures.. i saw the pictures below. Did i change a lot or i just change my hairstyle?

Tada.....
